    Samford has over 180 majors, minors and concentrations. Our 13:1 student to faculty ration means our professors exist to help & support you.
    September 29 & October 1: Spiritual Development and Involvement
    This session will identify the many ways our Office of Spiritual Life nurtures individuals and encourages authentic Christian community while providing a network of spiritual formation groups, worship experiences, service opportunities and ministry projects.
    October 6 & 8: Community
    At Samford, we know community. Our Student Life Office is committed to developing the emotional, intellectual, physical, social and spiritual well-being of our students. Join this session to hear more about the events and traditions designed to maximize your potential in a global society, while Samford nurtures a sense of belonging for in a Christian campus community.
    October 13 & 15: Diversity
    The goal of the Office of Diversity and Intercultural Initiatives is to advance efforts that engage the Samford community through a variety of campus events that enhance cross-cultural initiatives and celebrate diversity and inclusion.     October 20 & 22: Greek Life
    Did you know Samford is home to 15 national fraternities and sororities? The Office of Greek Life is committed to a quality fraternal experience encompassing service, leadership, scholarship and personal development within a Christian-values collegiate community. During this session, we’ll identify the unique value our Greek Life adds to the Samford community.

    November 3 & 5: Birmingham
    Campus is only minutes from the heart of Birmingham. This metropolitan area of about one million people is rich in history, and is home to major banking and insurance companies, a nationally ranked medical center, a symphony orchestra, The Birmingham Barons, the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and a myriad of other institutions and organizations that make it a thriving, modern city.
    November 10 & 12: Campus Recreation & Athletics
    Campus Recreation strives to promote learning, fun, friendship, leadership development and sportsmanship in a Christian environment by offering quality competitive and non-competitive programs and activities. Hear from our Campus Rec staff on all of the opportunities that await you.
    November 17 & 19: Student Organizations
    Co-curricular involvement enhances learning within the classroom. Student Organizations exist as a resource for Samford students. With 166 registered student organizations students can receive advising, leadership training and organizational support.
